Euronext is the largest stock market in continental Europe, created by the merger in 2000, of the former stock exchanges in Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon and Paris. Companies are listed on a single regulated market, the Eurolist by Euronext, and are classified in alphabetical order. They are identified by market capitalisation rather than geographic location, i.e. small caps are less than €150 million, mid caps are between €150 million and €1 billion and large caps are over €1 billion.
